The annual fancy dress dip took place once more on 1st January under blue skies and beneath seasonally chilly waves.Â
Both plungers and spectators alike lined the Arenal beach at 1pm in readiness for the race to the sea. Some hangovers were quickly cured once the shock of the water hit the parts other beers could not reach!
But Batman, it seems, made an appearance to ensure everyone was safe!
But as it usual, the event raised an amazing amount of money for this year’s chosen charity… €3074.50 to be exact, thanks to Karen and Nigel of the Lancashire Bruja, who have arranged this event every year since…. well I actually can’t remember, but it is a VERY long time!!
