Ximo Puig, has said that the Generalitat is currently working on a catalogue of beaches and coves in the Valencian Community, which will be put together in an app that will guide visitors on the degree of occupation of each beach to assist in making a decision when wanting to avoid crowds.
The objective, as explained by the head of the Consell, is to “get safe beaches for citizens” , something for which it is necessary “an exercise of co-responsibility” involving the different institutions.
The president has also explained that Turisme Comunitat Valenciana is also preparing a document with recommendations that will help municipalities to facilitate safe access to beaches. The aim is, he has indicated, to offer “as much information” as possible to local corporations, so that they have “a regulatory framework that reinforces safety on the beaches.”
