A total of 280 pharmacies, which represent 30% of the total existing in the Alicante region, currently offer the service of carrying out antigen tests and notifying the positive result to the Health Authority, according to the list published by the Official College of Pharmacists of the Province of Alicante.
With this service, the user can carry out the test in the pharmacy itself and, in the event of a positive result, they do not have to phone or go to the health centre to confirm the result. It is the pharmacy itself that communicates with the Ministry of Health.
Among those, there are 34 pharmacies in our local areas.
