DeniaJaveaMoraira/TeuladaOrba Earthquake in Murcia is felt locally by Loraine Gostling August 30, 2021 written by Loraine Gostling August 30, 2021 569 In the early hours of this morning, some residents of the region felt the effects of an earthquake in the Murcian town of Cabo de Palos, which had a magnitude of 3.8 on the Richter scale. The earthquake occurred at 1.04 am about seven km. out to sea. It lasted about nine seconds and its effects have been noticed in Dénia, Javea, Calpe, Teulada-Moraira and some inland towns, such as Orba, with a slight trembling of the furniture and even some cracking.
