Due to the XXXIII Volta a Peu race, on Sunday, February 27th, there will be traffic and parking restrictions in the car park of the Palau d’Esports Municipal.
The parking spaces in the area of the sports centre must kept clear of vehicles after midnight on Saturday 26th, thus affecting the roads: Avenida dels Furs, José Manuel Bordes street, Ausias March, Botànic Cabanilles, Joan Fuster and Vicent Andrés Estelles.
As for the traffic closures, they will be reduced on the morning of Sunday 27th : from 7:00 in the morning when he block surrounding the Palau D’Esports will be closed except for residents and emergency vehicles.
At 9:00 a.m. the following will be closed : Avenida Mediterráneo between the Triana bridge and Arenal and Avenida de la Libertad. Also the roundabout of IES Num 1 (on Avenida Augusta) to the bridge.
At 9:30 a.m. , Ultramar Avenues (from Arenal to La Caleta ) and Esparta Street will be closed .
It is estimated that these roads, through which the race runs, will remain closed for about two hours, although they will reopen as soon as conditions allow.
