Javea International Festival 2026

by Karlee McGregor

The 31st Javea International Festival will be held from the 2nd to 4th July 2026, in the Avenida Augusta (section next to IES La Mar) opening at 18.00 each evening. Access is completely free.

At the time of writing, we do not have a full itinerary, but this will be updated as soon as posssible.

This event brings together half the world in a single street and allows us to move from one country to another in a few steps.

New for 2026 is the participation of Thailand, while Morocco and Uruguay return to the event after several years.

A special attraction this year will be daily performances of the traditional Swiss alphorn.

The events start at 6:00 PM on Avenida Augusta , and, as always, admission is free, allowing everyone to experience this unique round-the-world tour without leaving the city. The programme of performances begins each day at 8:00 PM and will include a varied selection of folklore, dance, and music.
