Programme of Christmas festivities in Javea

Historical Centre: Saturday 10th and Sunday 11th December

  • Christmas Fair: Trade and association fair in Plaza Celestino Pons, next to the Municipal Market from 10:30 a.m. to 18:00 p.m.
  • Playground of 11: 00 to 13: 30 hours.
  • Show ‘Balls de Poble’: at 17:00 p.m. it will start in the Placeta del Convent and will go through the streets of the historic centre until it reaches the Plaza de la Iglesia.
  • Poetry Show: on Sunday, December 11, the actor and comedian Pepe Viyuela will present his new show Río de Poesía at the Church of St. Bartholomew the 20: 30 hours.

Javea Arenal: Saturday 10th and 17th December

  • Blues festival: It will be on Saturday the 10th on the beach promenade. The Jazz Session of German Elul Trio will serve as a preview of the Arenal Blues festival to be held in March 2023. The concert on Saturday the 10th will be at 12:00 pm on the Paseo David Ferrer.
  • Storyteller dramatised ‘Les Llums’; on Saturday 17th, at 11:00 a.m., by the Christmas Tree on the Paseo del Tenisista David Ferrer.

The Christmas Crafts Fair will take place in the historic centre and is open to public participation of all local or regional entities of a social or charitable nature. Segarra has announced that the Red Cross, Aspanión, Amunt against cancer, Betlemistes de Xàbia and Amics de Thiviers have already registered, although the term is still open for anyone who wants to join. The Councilor for Economic Development added that in addition to the programming, you can also visit the market for the benefit of Cáritas, located at Carrer En Forn, 10, which opens on Friday afternoons and Saturdays in the morning and afternoon.
