The month of August will have a new look in the cultural calendar of the city of Valencia. 

The Nursery Gardens will host a new series of concerts: Nits de Vivers . It will begin on Thursday, July 29 and will last for five weeks. In total, 21 shows of very diverse genres will be offered .

The public will be able to enjoy:-

Pop Music (Los Secretos, Zahara, Sidonie, Shinova )

Rock Music ( M-Clan, León Benavente, Corizonas, Novedades Carminha, Los de Marras )

Rap and urban music ( Nach, Los Chikos del Maíz, Prok, Morad, Iseo & Dodosound )

There is also a night dedicated to electronic dance music from the first decade of the 2000s.

In addition to music, two stand-ups will perform: Xavi Castillo and David Guapo .

This new festival is part of the Mediterranew Musix brand promoted by Turisme Comunitat Valenciana. The concerts will take place in a large outdoor space to ensure compliance with security measures against the pandemic. In addition, it has already been announced that the venue will have gastronomy and bicycle parking services .

July schedule

The concerts will begin on Thursday July 29th with Novedades Carminha.

On July 30th it will be the turn of Los de Marras . The Valencian group will present their recent album ‘Peligro Esperanza’. In it, strong guitars are still combined with direct and emotional lyrics.

On Saturday , July 31st, the M-Clan recital will be held in the format of an acoustic duo. The singer Carlos Tarque and the guitarist Ricardo Ruipérez will review their long career with an intimate covering.

August schedule

The 1st August is reserved for Iberia Sumergida. The tribute band to Héroes del Silencio that will feature Pedro Andreu , the original drummer from Zaragoza.

On Wednesday , August 4th, Xavi Castillo will perform . The Valencian comedian will stage the show ‘ La Bíblia’ .

5th August sees Shinova . The Basques are one of the references of current indie and they will put on their latest work ‘La Buena Suerte’.

On Friday , August 6th, the León Benavente group will stop in Valencia . Presenting ‘Let’s go crazy’, their third LP and work that has consolidated them as one of the leading bands of Spanish pop-rock.

On Saturday 7th , attendees will vibrate with Iseo & Dodosound characterized by their fusion of reggae and dub.

Zahara performs on Wednesday August 11 . The Andalusian will focus on the songs from her most recent album ‘PUTA’ where the singer denounces the harassment situation experienced by many women.

On the 12th , Los Viveros will host a classic Spanish pop band: Los Secretos .

On Friday August 13th , the public will be able to listen live to the songs of ‘The Return of Abba’, Sidonie’s latest album .

The singer Zenet will perform on Saturday August 14th to show his own language that he has created from jazz.

The monologist David Guapo will be in charge of closing the week on the 15th with the show # QUENONOSFRUNJANLAFIESTA2.

Nits de Vivers will continue on Wednesday August 18th with Corizonas , a rock band that will land in Valencia with a new album under their arm: Corizonas III.

On the 20th, the festival will feature Prok , a forerunner of so-called serious or loyal rap and known for his adventures with Ajax.

Hip hop rhymes and beats will also be the main ingredients of Saturday night , August 21 thanks to Nach .

On the 22nd , the stage of the festival will serve to remember the great nights of mythical rooms. The protagonists will be the disc jockeys, interpreters like Jerry Daley, Carol McCloskey and Kriss Orue , while Bartual will act as master of ceremonies.

The fifth and final week

On Thursday , August 26 with Hard GZ, a young urban hip hop artist with a strong social commitment who accumulates millions of views and listens to his songs.

The Valencian Los Chikos del Maíz will perform on the 27th to present their latest release, the David Simon EP, where they once again demonstrate why they are one of the most followed political rap groups in the country.

Nits de Vivers will continue on Saturday August 28 with Morad . The Spanish singer of Moroccan descent has emerged as an essential name of the state hip hop drill with lyrics that reflect the difficult moments of his childhood and adolescence.

Finally, the festival will close its first edition on Sunday August 29 with the mythical band Barón Rojo . The formation returns to the stage with the tour ‘The last flight’ in which they will review their great songs on their farewell tour.
