Pedreguer woke up last Saturday to the best of Christmas Tidings!
The town had scooped third grand prize of El Gordo National Lottery of 8.75 million euros!
Joy burst through the streets of this little town where the streets were filled with locals celebrating, of course the fireworks were whizzing, cannons blasting and cameramen and media were smiling on the street corners, filming the whole marvellous atmosphere.
Among the winners is Pepa Jiménez, who shared a tenth of the winning ticket number 21015 with his sister-in-law.
Also in the Masymas supermarket in the town, the staff attended to the customers whilst screaming with excitement. Raquel was elated because “it has given me such happiness”.
The girls from the La Revolución rock also picked the winning number number. A syndicate of 18 friends, one of which remembered that they chose a number ending in “5”.
And in the bar ‘la Caçola’, Paqui was so excited after hearing the fantastic news.
