There has been two cases of literal daylight robbery this week, in both Javea and Moraira and it seems likely that it could be the same female
We were told that, on Wednesday 4th September, Rob Goodey’s young son had left a Nintendo Switch console for a short time on a table in Monaditos on the Arenal. He understands that it was rather silly to leave it unattended but children just don’t think sometimes.
Ray asks “Does anybody recognise this spineless thief who stole my 7 year old sons nintendo switch from montaditos on the arenal . On Wednesday night .We would like it back and she can give her explanation to our son !
Please help My 7 year old son get his NINTENDO SWITCH console back.”
Then shortly after, another post was added to the Javea Connect group, this time by Peter Freeman, who reported a further robbery in his home in Moraira, which was also caught on camera at around 4pm on Thursday 5th September.
Please take a look at the following video. We have spliced the two together and although it is not perfectly clear, it does seems that this thief could be the same woman.
She is said to drive a large blue car and travels with a young daughter.
We understand that the police have seen the Moraira footage and that the woman is known to them. According to police she is from Alicante. Now it remains to be seen whether this is one and the same thief!
