The Driest April in 32 years

In recent years, with the arrival of spring, rain has been present either to a great or lesser extent, ( especially last year when March was just one pretty consant downour!) but in 2023, both March and April have been very dry, together with high temperatures which is very uncommon.

According to the data recorded by Meteoxàbia, it had not raine din any significant quantity since last February. More than two and a half months during which the sun took the lead.

The year began normally since in January it rained as usual. In February the drought began, barely more than 20 litres per square metre were accumulated in Javea.

A situation that has not occurred for more than 30 years and that will continue in the coming days.
