Nearest local municipal swimming pools

We thought this would be useful information for families and those who want to do some serious swimming in a larger pool.

Some are open all year and some have added facilities such as padel/tennis courts, gyms and cafe-bars.

Benitachell

The municipal swimming pool oin Benitachell is open throughout the year, as they are covered facilities. They offer swimming courses and, in addition, it is possible to enjoy the free bathing service.

It is situated at Polígono Residencial de Ensanche, 547, 03726 Benitachell.

Benidoleig

The Benidoleig pool usually opens to the public in mid-June, just before San Juan. Normally, the City Council offers passes or season tickets to enjoy the summer facilities.  There is a 25-metre pool with a hydraulic lift for the disabled.

• Schedule: Monday to Sunday from 11:00 to 14:00 and from 16:00 to 20:00.

Benissa

The Collao de Benissa Municipal Pool starts the season on July 4th until September 15th. The advantage of the municipality’s summer sports facilities are the two paddle tennis courts also located there.

• Schedule: Monday to Sunday from 11:00 a.m. to 20:00 p.m.
• Price: up to 13 years, 1 euro. From 14 years, 1,5 euros.

Calpe

The Calp Fernando Delgado municipal pool is a heated facility that is open all year round.

• Schedule: Monday to Friday from 07:00 a.m. to 22:00 p.m. and Saturday from 08:00 a.m. to 14:00 p.m.

Gata de Gorgos

Gata de Gorgos opens from June 23rd to September 3rd. The facilities have a capacity of 120 people and, in addition, swimming courses for all ages and aquagym are offered.

• Monday to Saturday from 09:00 a.m. to 13:30 p.m. and from 15:00 p.m. to 21:00 p.m. Sunday from 11:00 a.m. to 14:00 p.m. and from 15:00 p.m. to 21:00 p.m.

Ondara

The municipal swimming pool of Ondara remains open throughout the year, since the main installation is covered. Until June 30th there is a winter schedule. During July and August the schedule changes slightly to adapt to the summer days.

Winter time

From September 15 to June 30 opening hours are as follows:

• Monday to Friday from 08:00 a.m. to 22:00 p.m.
• Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 14:00 p.m.

Summer schedule

The TAI-certified months of July and August, the opening hours of the municipal swimming pool are as follows:

• From Monday to Thursday of 08: 00 has 21: 30 h.
• 11 Friday: 00 has 20: 00 h.
• Saturday and Sunday from 11:00 a.m. to 14:00 p.m. and from 16:00 p.m. to 20:00 p.m.

The pool pavilion is equipped with the following facilities:

• Large and small pool.

Pedreguer

The summer pool in Pedreguer begins its season on June 11th until September 10th.

 It is located in the same facilities as the local municipal gym at Carrer Filassers, 15A, 03750, Pedreguer.

• Schedule:
• Monday to Friday from 11:00 a.m. to 13:30 p.m. and from 16:00 p.m. to 20:30 p.m.
• Saturday and Sunday from 11:00 a.m. to 14:00 p.m. and from 16:00 p.m. to 20:00 p.m.
• In September, weekdays from 16:00 p.m. to 20:00 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 11:00 a.m. to 14:00 p.m. and from 16:00 p.m. to 20:00 p.m.

Teulada Moraira

The Teulada Moraira swimming pool of the Ricardo Benavente Sports City opens the season on July 1st. The outdoor bathing facilities have a full program of activities, such as swimming courses.
