One of them is located in Avenida Amsterdam, near the Arenal school, and the other next to the Les Mesquides car park in Duanes.

These two public spaces have been fitted out by the Services Department to allow dogs to socialise with each other and play off-leash healthily and safely.

The enclosures are fenced, have a double security gates and fitted seats for their owners. Litter bins and drinking water points are also provided

The two areas are in addition to those already existing in the Montaner Park area and in Pou de Moro, thus improving the facilities in the area.

The councillor for Services, Kika Mata, plans to contact the associations for the protection of pets associations to contribute ideas to improve these areas, for example with the installation of toys or gymnastic elements. The councillor reminded the public of the basic rules for using these areas, such as picking up pet excrement, using a leash to leave and enter the area and ensuring the dogs are properly identified and vaccinated.

Among the prohibitions are the mistreatment of the animals and bringing them to this area when they are sick, in heat or have aggressive problems.
