Javea police to get tougher with bad parkers

by JC Admin

In future, vehicles that are seen to”repeatedly and habitually” park at night in pedestrian areas, hindering access and being inconsiderate to pedestrians, will suffer the consequences.

Local police will, in the next few days, launch a special campaign of surveillance and supervision of the proper use of pedestrian spaces in urban areas, especially at night.

The aim of the campaign, which will apply the sanctioning regime, is to improve respect for public spaces., for reason stated above and to prevent damage to the roads themselves.

The Local Police therefore seek to correct offending behavior and make life easier for pedestrians, especially people who suffer from mobility problems.
