Night Fireworks In Denia on Sunday 15th July

From Saturday 7th July until Sunday 15th July

Festa Major in honor of the Santísima Sangre in Dénia (Alicante), a whole week to enjoy the well-known “Bous a la Mar”, declared of National Tourist Interest. During these dates there are many events such as religious celebrations, sports championships, concerts, performances, festivals and children’s activities.

Els Bous a la Mar (Toros al Mar) is one of the most popular festivals in the city. The show begins with the entrance of bulls to the “semiplaza de toros”. This tradition began in 1926.

On Wednesday morning the Mass of the Most Holy Blood of Christ is celebrated, with a distribution of blessed bread and a procession in the afternoon. The concert of the Musical Artistic Association of Dénia that celebrates the day of the Blessed Blood is during the evening.

On Saturday is the traditional parade of floats which is a colourful eye-catching procession. 

On Sunday night you can enjoy “La Nit de Foc” with the launch of a Fireworks Castle in the Port, which closes the festivities.
