In April 2025, we put out a warning on the Javea Connect Information page about a scam doing the rounds on Facebook – it read as follows:-
Beware – if you see an ad on Facebook for a Lidl Warehouse mega sale, don’t get ripped off.
They profess to have a 70% off sale and the page is quite convincing until you think twice about it. I found it hard to believe and eventually found that it is apparently from an outfit called cdn.staticsee – a well known phishing site. But the sales page looks really convincing, with diminishing stock levels, a clicking timer and prices to really entice. Don’t get stung!I saw it today as a sponsored FB advert!
Today (10th July) one of our members posted another warning about this fake advert, so it appears that they are still going on under the name MZYHS.com!
