From June 15 they will also be on the beaches of La Grava and Granadella and from July 1 there will be additional operational services in the bay of Portitxol and Montañar. Also starting in July the service will be extended in the Arenal beach until 10pm.

The Services department is preparing the beaches for the start of the bathing season and the pebbled beaches are now being leveled at Benissero-Montañar, La Grava, La Granadella and La Barraca.

In addition, the areas where the seasonal services will be installed -chiringuitos, hammocks, sunshades and nautical services- have also been developed but not yet completed. According to the Councilor of Services, Kika Mata, the bids have all evaluated and those with the highest bids have ten days to accept or reject the contracts

This is the reason why there are still no chiringuitos or hammocks on any of the beaches.
