Sandra (Imelda Staunton) is a woman on the eve of her retirement who lives a well-off life with her husband. All this will change when she discovers that her husband is cheating on her with her best friend. She will then decide to leave the marital home and move in with her bohemian sister Bif (Celia Imrie), who lives on the outskirts of the city. Through the dance, Bif will try to make her little sister start again and redo her life, and even fall in love again.
