A novel idea for plant lovers! – A Springtime Plant Swap afternoon.
So, what is it all about? -we hear you say..
It’s a way to acquire new plants without spending money, while also sharing your own excess plants or cuttings with others in your community.
Sharing and Exchange: Plant swaps are all about sharing plants and related items. People bring plants they’re willing to part with and trade for other plants they want to add to their collection.
Community Building: Swaps provide a social space for plant lovers to meet, connect, and maybe even learn from each other by sharing tips and advice.
Saving Money: Since plants are exchanged rather than sold, plant swaps can be a budget-friendly way to expand your plant collection.
Sustainability: By sharing and reusing plants, swaps promote a more sustainable approach to gardening, reducing waste and promoting the propagation and sharing of plants within a community.
So trim your bushes, sow your seeds and come along to Pinsol Park, Javea on Monday May 12th, from 14.30 until 16.30 meet some other green-fingered enthusiasts and spend a realxing afternoon in the sunshine. Don’t forget to label your plants before you set off 😊
