Replica of Magellan’s Ship on Display In Denia.

The replica of the first ship that went around the world can be visited from 27th April until 1st May in Denia Port.

La Nao Victoria is the replica of the ship that made the greatest maritime feat in history. Between 1519 and 1522 she made the first round the world trip under the command of explorers Fernando de Magallanes and Juan Sebastián Elcano.

Built and inaugurated at the Universal Exhibition of Seville in 1992, the Nao Victoria is a floating museum of 26 meters in length and 7 of beam where visitors can learn about its history and the living conditions of the sailors of that time. Today it has navigated thousands of miles, sailing through all the oceans and seas of the planet, completed its own round the world sailings in 2004 and 2006 and has made several tours through the USA. and Europe receiving thousands of visits along the way.

The admission price for adults is €4 and  €2 for children. A family admission ticket is  €10. Tickets can be obtained at the ship or through the website.

So that visitors can tour its decks in complete safety during the Nao Victoria’s stay in the city, all pertinent capacity measures will be adopted. Therefore, it is recommended to get the ticket online or pay by card.

In addition, those who come to see the Nao Victoria on Friday 29 and Saturday 30 April, will also be able to enjoy the II Vina Marina Dénia Fair that is held in the Dianense marina.

Schedules

The replica of the Nao Victoria can be visited in Marina de Dénia from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., between this Wednesday, April 27 and Sunday, May 1.

Hours: 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. (last hour to buy tickets 30 minutes before closing)

• Adults (> 10 years): €5
• Families (2 adults and up to 3 children between 5-10 years old): €13
