About 40 residents in a three-storey block located on c/Cagliari, Javea, were evicted by the Local Police this morning when a fire broke out on the ground floor. In the apartment where the fire occurred, a woman, three children and their dog, were able to escape unharmed.
Three vehicles from the Dénia regional fire department arrived place around 11.am and extinguished the fire quickly.  The Bomberos then ventilated the house and the staircase, the latter having been affected by smoke.Â
