Yesterday, a robbery took place in the Lidl store in Finnestrat. The thieves then took off to the Javea Lidle store and tried to carry out another robbery.
Local police were alerted by the shop staff when the robbers tried to escape, but in their haste to flee frorm the crime scene, they crashed the getaway car into a tree.
With the help of the Guardia Civil, the” Fishy Thieves” were apprehended and taken to the GC offices, along with the recovered loot!
