One of the usual summer events in Javea is the Vora la Mar Cinema. It is completely free and is intended for all audiences. This summer film event usually brings together hundreds of local people and visitors during the summer months.
The shows begin at 10pm every Tuesday in the central area of ​​the Arenal beach.
The program kicks off this Tuesday, July 1, with the Spanish comedy Me he hizo viral (Me he hizo viral, 2023), starring Blanca Suárez and recommended for ages 12 and up. It will be followed by the family classic The Secret Garden (July 8), a 1993 British adventure story suitable for all audiences.
Science fiction will arrive on July 15 with ¡Salta! , a Spanish film that invites you to travel back in time through the eyes of a child. The following week, on July 22 , Twisters , a fast-paced 2024 American production not recommended for children under 13, will be screened . Closing out July on the 29th , Los buenos maneras , another Spanish comedy, this time for children over 7, will be shown .
The August programming will kick off on the 5th with animated films: Dragon Keeper , a 2024 Spanish film ideal for children. On August 12th , superhero action arrives with Shazam! Fury of the Gods , not recommended for children under 12. The program closes on August 19th with Buffalo Kids , a recent Spanish animated film suitable for all audiences.
