Police in Alicante have denounced an individual for leaving a dog in a vehicle in temperatures reaching 36 degrees. They have filed court proceedings and also, as the vehicle did not have a valid ITV, the car was seized and the owner will now be facing charges for both offences.
In this case, the police have also started a campaign to find a foster home for the dog, rather than take it to to an animal care centre.
