2700.47€ was collected on the New Year’s Day Swim! I want to give a HUGE THANKYOU to each and every one of you who donated to the total amount either on the day at the beach or as a sponsored swimmer.
The Lancashire Bruja thanks all swimmers, Humpty Dumpty Newsagents, Digby’s Swimmers, Linda Ferguson, Paul Devenish, Mal Thomas & Jane and Rick from Camping el Naranjal for their participation on the gorgeous.
Also I must give a Thankyou to my “little helpers” Jane, Ali, Annie and Mum for shaking your buckets down the beach; Paul Devenish from Terra Náutica for coming to my rescue at the last minute with the “fog horn”; Pam Sharp & Sieglinde Czerwinski for so many photos; Paul Mitchel-King for the awesome drone video & photos; and Irena for the lovely write up in the Costa Blanca News.
It was an absolute beautiful day & the weather turned out perfectly Both charities shall be contacted this week with the money being split evenly between the Red Cross of Javea & the children’s charity Aspanion
