Les Fogueres Fiesta Programme 2026 – Jávea

The Festival of San Juan, specifically Les Fogueres de Sant Joan, started in Javea in 1949. The first festivities, called the “Festivities of Fogueres,” took place at that time. 

The main events and celebrations of Les Fogueres de Sant Joan typically take place in the old town in the middle 2 weeks of June, particularly in the Plaza de la Constitución, and include parades in the port area and Arenal. 

This year, the main events run from June 12th to June 24th

FRIDAY 12 JUNE – CHILDREN’S PROCLAMATION
7:30 pm Parade of the Youth Committee and Children’s Court of Honour from Church Square to Constitution Square.
8:00 pm Proclamation of the Youth Committee, Court of Honour, Ladies and Children’s Queen in Constitution Square.

SATURDAY 13 JUNE – QUEEN’S PROCLAMATION
10:00 am 29th Fogueres Chess Tournament for schoolchildren.
9:30 pm Parade of the Quintà 2026 “A Trompicons”.
10:00 pm Proclamation of the Court of Honour, Ladies and Queen. Afterwards, Orchestra LA FLAMA until 5:00 am.

SUNDAY 14 JUNE – PROCLAMATION DAY
9:30 am Table Tennis Open.
11:00 am Valencian Pelota match.
8:00 pm Parade of the Court of Honour, Ladies and Queens.
9:30 pm Official opening speech by the Queens and local authorities.
10:30 pm Bring-your-own dinner. Drinks provided by the Fogueres Committee.
Midnight: Singing at the images of Saint John followed by DESPIPORRE disco until 3:00 am.

MONDAY 15 JUNE
BULL EVENTS TODAY.

** PLEASE NOTE THAT DURING THIS FIESTA THERE WILL BE EVENTS FEATURING LIVESTOCK. THIS PART OF THE AGENDA IS NOT LISTED ON JAVEA CONNECT, AS WE DO NOT WISH TO PROMOTE SUCH EVENTS.**

10:00 pm Theatre performance “Two Bachelors and a Baby”.
10:00 pm Paella Competition (rice supplied by the committee). Live music and DJ until 3:00 am.

TUESDAY 16 JUNE
Children’s cart run, bull events, Circus & Fire Festival, Portitxol concert and Fogueres Musicón until 3:00 am.

WEDNESDAY 17 JUNE – SENIORS’ DAY
Popular breakfast for pensioners, giant paella for residents, Valencian pelota tournament, Voices of the Mediterranean concert, bull events and live music.

THURSDAY 18 JUNE – DECORATED STREETS VISIT
Visits to decorated streets, bonfire burnings, Raspall match, Circus & Fire finale, traditional dancing, adult gymkhana and erection of the main bonfires.

FRIDAY 19 JUNE – DISTRICT VISITS
Table football tournament, visits to Thiviers, Freginal, Port and Arenal districts, grand bingo and concerts featuring ESTHER and LA FÚMIGA.

SATURDAY 20 JUNE – QUINTADES DAY
Wake-up parade with fireworks, barbecue breakfast, Quintades parade, traditional and water games, MATRIX BAND show and SOS ANIMATION disco until 5:00 am.

SUNDAY 21 JUNE – CHILDREN’S DAY
Children’s fun park, PETIT ARS anniversary concert, macaroni lunch, ALADDIN musical, fancy dress parade and tribute concert.

MONDAY 22 JUNE – FLOWER OFFERING DAY
Vermouth concert, flower offering to Saint John, serenade to the Queens and Presidents, and PARÍS DE NOIA SHOW orchestra until 3:30 am.

TUESDAY 23 JUNE – NIT DELS FOCS
Festival call, grape and fig offering, brass band parade and competition, children’s fire event, traditional Fire Night of Saint John, old junk bonfire burning, NIT MÀGICA correfoc and disco until 5:00 am.

WEDNESDAY 24 JUNE – SAN JUAN (Local Holiday)
Bell ringing, religious celebrations, parade, solemn mass, mascletà fireworks display, civic reception, floats parade, burning of the children’s bonfire, FREEDOM orchestra, grand fireworks display and burning of the main bonfire.
