This year, the Javea Artesan Fair will bring together 85 craft stalls situated between the Placeta del Convent, the Calle Mayor and the Plaza de Baix.
On Saturday 19th April there will be also be a local agricultural products stall, with a dozen stalls of with a dozen exhibitors offering fruit, vegetables, honey, wine, oil and homemade jams, etc.
The programme for this year’s fair also includes numerous parallel activities designed for all audiences, from children’s workshops on how to make vegetable soap, natural toothpaste, ceramic jewellery or clay modelling, as well as large-scale cultural events such as the musical show ‘1238: Crònoma (1238: Chronicle of a dream), which stages the life and deeds of King Jaume I, with the participation of the colla Xirimitab’s, the Cor Ars Nova and the Grup de ball Endanza.
There will also be a ‘Mostra de balls i cançons de La Marina’, performed by the Grup de Danses Portitxol, as well as concerts, street entertainment and festivities, such as that of the local peñas and associations that will take place on Sunday the 20th.
The Soler Blasco Museum will join the programme with a special opening during the weekend, opening hours from 10:00 to 13:30 h.
