Jávea Players is a not-for-profit association, based in Javea, run exclusively by volunteers. In 2026, we will be celebrating our 50th Anniversary. The association puts on 4 productions a year. In addition, we have acting workshops for both youth and adult groups with more planned for specialist groups.

Our next production “Doubt : A Parable” is a gripping drama that will continuously challenge you to consider this simple question: “What is truth?”Powerfully staged and expertly written, “Doubt” packs a punch, offering deep food for thought on belief, authority, and the difficult nature of truth. It is a remarkable piece of theatre that has won a Tony Award, a Pulitzer Prize, and critical acclaim from London to Broadway. We’ve got to learn to live with a full measure of uncertainty.”Skilfully directed by Tony Kitlinsky, “Doubt” is full of razor-sharp dialogue and conflicting themes that will entertain, challenge, and stay with you long after the final curtain.
