The first Specsavers Ópticas in Spain opened in Javea in April 2006 to provide customers with quality, professional eyecare at low prices.

Their fully qualified optometrists use the latest technology to provide a comprehensive eye examination including digital retinal photography to capture images of the back of the eye.

The optical team includes 4 optometrists; Cecilia Navarro Tudela, Isabel Fenollar, Martín Barrera and Maria Martin. They all speak English and Spanish and have team members who also speak Valenciano, German and Russian, so they can offer the Javea community the best possible optical care in their own language.

The team are passionate about consistently providing an excellent customer experience and the highest standard of eye care. They have applied Specsavers’ extremely high standards of professional excellence and brought in local, multi-lingual staff members to apply the brand values to the Javea market in an appropriate way.

Seepoint has a digital retinal camera, allowing the optician to take a detailed picture of the back of the eye. This helps identify changes that might be associated with certain eye conditions and provides an on-going record that they can compare each
time clients have an eye test. If necessary, the optician can refer clients directly for further medical examination to their hospital or general practitioner.
