The president of the Generalitat, Ximo Puig and the Regional Minister of Health, Ana Barceló, have now reported the new measures and restrictions that will take effect from midnight tonight until 9th December.
The Ministry of Health has published the resolution in the Official Gazette of the Generalitat Valenciana, which also nullifies the restrictions in the most affected localities that were decreed last week and does not allow the authorisation of any type of “mass event or activity”.
The decree indicates that in the event of an epidemic outbreak, screening with PCR tests will be carried out in those populations at risk and potentially exposed.
The Valencian Government has restricted to 50% the capacity in retail stores and interior of restaurant spaces, terraces and cultural spaces.
Also, the new restrictions limit religious ceremonies and wakes to a maximum of 25 people outdoors and 15 indoors , six people to participate in traditional festive activities , the capacity in outdoor playgrounds is reduced to 50% Free with the safety distance and the children’s leisure facilities in closed spaces must guarantee continuous cleaning and that there is no exchange of objects between users, while group activities will have a maximum of 6 participants.
– The establishments and commercial premises and professional services activities must reduce the total capacity to 1/3 , the markets will reduce the stalls by half, while the shopping centres will also reduce their capacity by half and the gathering of customers in common areas except for transit.
With regard to leisure, the activity of nightclubs, dance halls, karaoke and cocktail bars with and without live musical performances is suspended , consumption inside the premises may not exceed one third of the capacity and one half on the terraces. Self-service/ buffet services and drinking on the streets (bottelons) are not allowed. The casinos will operate with a third capacity.
In the same way, the common areas of hotels and tourist accommodation may not exceed a third of their capacity and people who are not living together may not stay overnight or use collective services simultaneously.
-For their part, cultural and tourist activities reduce their capacity by half, travelling shows are not allowed, it is recommended to carry out online conferences and workshops but if they are held it will be with 50% capacity.
Non-regulated online teaching is recommended , especially that aimed at vulnerable people, and if it is taught in person, it should not exceed 50% of the maximum capacity of the facility.
Physical activity or sport, both in sports facilities and outdoors, can be practiced without physical contact in individual sports and practiced in pairs.
Likewise, physical activities can be carried out in groups up to a maximum of 30 people, when They are held in open facilities, and up to a maximum of 20 people, when they are held in closed facilities, without physical contact, maintaining the safety distance and provided that a third of the maximum capacity is not exceeded.
