After seeing a review of this gorgeous place, I thought a few more people should know about this very unusual getaway
Nestled in the Canal de Navarres in the province of Valencia, two yurts cater for up to two guests, the largest one can cater for up to four. The yurts are completely insulated so as to keep you cool in the heat of the summer and to keep in the heat from the wood burning stove during the winter. They are open 11 months of the year.
The owners, Dave and Ann Marie, live on site, and have a combined 50 years plus experience in hospitality, (pubs, B&B´s and restaurants).
They built the yurts themselves, and like a phoenix from the flames, refurbished their home.
Before we go on, as they say, a picture tells a thousand words, and so here is a gallery of what you can expect when you go “Glamping”
When you arrive
When you arrive, you will be welcomed with a cold drink on the private terrace by either Dave or Ann Marie. They will explain the various options available to you during your stay and make sure that you are ready to enjoy your yurt experience as soon as possible!
What they offer
Breakfast and dinner, pre-ordered, can be served under the pergola in the lower garden.
You can choose from a continental breakfast with homemade bread and pastries, with fresh coffee or tea, or a more substantial cooked breakfast.
The dinner option is pre-booked and is dependant on guests request. Could be a BBQ, or a light oven baked fillet of salmon, or mussels in a creamy white wine and garlic reduction and a crisp fresh salad, homemade bread. Followed by a selection of desserts, or a cheese board! You tell them!!!
Glampers also have access to a shared kitchen, equipped with fridge, hob, crockery, glassware, cutlery and utensils.
