Spain has taken the decision to suspend flights arriving from the United Kingdom from Tuesday, (other than those carrying Spanish nationals or legal residents.).

This measure has also been adopted by Portugal, due to the new, more contagious strain of the coronavirus which has been identified in London and parts SE England.

As many as 23 European countries had already opted to suspend flights between their airports and the United Kingdom in a bid to prevent this new mutation of the coronavirus from reaching them.

Passengers arriving in Spanish airports have been required to have taken a PCR test ( or equivalent) since 23rd November.
