The Laundromat: Dirty Money

The film follows a group of journalists investigating the “Panama papers”, an investigation in which more than 11 million files were revealed that prove that great world personalities would have opened bank accounts in Panama with the intention of evading taxes and hiding your money. The film is based on the book ‘Secrecy World’, by Jake Bernstein, author of other works such as ‘The Ultimate Day Trader’ or ‘The New Prosperity’ and winner of the Pulitzer Prize. The film is directed by Steven Soderbergh (‘Traffic’, ‘Erin Brockovich’ and ‘Sex, lies and videotapes’) and stars Gary Oldman (‘The Mole’, ‘The Darkest Moment’) and Meryl Streep ( ‘Memories of Africa’, ‘The devil wears Prada’)
