A CHANGE OF PLAN WAS ANNOUNCED ON FRIDAY 2ND SEPTEMBER DUE TO WEATHER CONDITIONS, AS FOLLOWS:-
The fireworks show that was scheduled for Saturday, September 2 was POSTPONED due to the weather forecast and to ensure the safety and brightness of the event.
Therefore, the fire parade will take place on Thursday 7th of September, Day of the Blessed Christ of the Sea, at 00:00h. The itinerary will be the same.
This change means a rescheduling of the acts in honour of Christ:
-The colourful fireworks display is suspended at the end of the procession.
-The musical We Love Queen will be moved to 22:30h in the same location.
-The discomobile of the group La UCA will start at 23:30h.
-The Dawn at Our Lady of Loreto will take place after the Correfoc.

10:00 Chess Championship Mare de Déu de Loreto (XXXIV Open Vila de Xàbia).
10:00 Popular lunch for all the Peñas Marineras.
11:30 Fun parade of the Peñas Marineras.
15:00 Lunch of brotherhood between Peñas Marineras with charanga and disco.
19:00 Magic show for children in C/ Severo Ochoa. The Comissió de Festes will distribute ice cream.
Then, the party will continue with music in the bull area and bar service until 03:30h.
WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 6TH. DAY OF OUR ELDERS
10:30 a.m. In the house of the Peña La Bufa, brisca contest for those over 50 years old.
11:00 Traditional visit of the Mayorales 2023 and the Comissió de Festes to the Asilo Hospital Hermanos Cholbi. Afterwards, parade through the Historical Centre handing out Coca María and Mistela and visit to the Santa María de Betania Day Care Centre. During the parade, a bouquet of flowers will be offered to the Patron Saint in her niche in Loreto Street.
12:30 The Peña La Bufa will invite our elders to an aperitif.
13:00 General Bell Ringing announcing the proximity of the great days of our patrons.
18:00 The peña La Bufa will visit the Asilo Hospital Hermanos Cholbi.
19:30 OFFERING OF FLOWERS TO THE MARE DE DÉU DE LORETO. The Comissió de Festes invites all Xàbia neighbuors, Peñas, local festivities and associations to participate in this endearing act.
23:00 NIGHT OF RONDA TO THE MAYORALES AND MAYORALES from the Parroquia del Mar. At the end, in C/Severo Ochoa, a wine of honour will be offered courtesy of the Mayorales of 2023 and the Comissió de Festes.
THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 7TH. DAY OF THE MOST HOLY CHRIST OF THE SEA ( See above for
09:00 Musical parade through the streets of Aduanas organized by the Peñas Pili La Banyà and Liatrix.
09:00 h General ringing of bells to mark the celebration of the day in honor of the Santísimo Cristo del Mar.
12:00 Parade through the streets of Aduanas of the Mayorales and Mayoralesas and Comissió de Festes to the Santísimo Cristo del Mar street. During the parade, offerings will be made to our Patrons in their respective niches.
13:00 Festa de Carrer in Santísimo Cristo del Mar. During the celebration, the association of traders and restaurateurs XÀBIA PORT will present the awards to the winners of this year’s competitions.
18:30 Parade of the Comissió de Festes to accompany the Mayoralesas and Mayorales to the parish church.
19:00 h Celebration of the Eucharist in honour of the Holy Christ of the Sea. The mass will be sung by the Parish Choir. Then, PROCESSION OF THE HOLY CHRIST OF THE SEA through the streets of Aduanas. At the end of the procession, MASCLETÀ OF COLORS in the avenue Jaime I.
23:30 Show WE LOVE QUEEN. An emotional tribute to the legendary band led by Freddie Mercury in the Paseo Pintor Joaquín Sorolla.
00:00 ALBÀ DE LA MARE DE DÉU DE LORETO. Shooting of fireworks bouquets from different points of Aduanas illuminating the sky at the beginning of the big day of our Patron Saint.
00:00 Discomóvil organized by the Peña La U.C.A. in Calle Doctor Fleming until 05:00.
FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 8TH. MARE DE DÉU DE LORETO’S DAY
08:00 Despertà through the streets of Aduanas by the Comissió de Festes.
09:00 General ringing of bells announcing the big day of our Patron Saint.
11:00 Parade of the Comissió de Festes and the Music Band to pick up the Mayoralesas and go to the parish church.
12:00 Celebration of the Solemn Eucharist in honour of our Patron Saint the Mare de Déu de Loreto. Mass will be sung by the parish choir.
At the end, parade of all attendees and then a deafening MASCLETÀ in Jaime I Avenue.
19:00 Parade of the Comissió de Festes and the Music Band to pick up the Mayorales and Mayoralesas 2023.
20:00 Solemn PROCESSION OF THE MARE DE DÉU DE LORETO through the streets of Aduanas.
23:30 Dance with the orchestra EUFORIA in the Paseo Pintor Joaquín Sorolla.
00:30 Sensational AQUATIC FIREWORKS CASTLE which we closes the festivities for this year. At the end, dancing continues with the orchestra until 04:00.
