APASA was founded in 1999 by a group of various nationalities, Spanish, English, German and Swiss, with the aim of rescuing those animals that were evidently abandoned or ill-treated or lost. We rely greatly on volunteers, working in the shelter, walking dogs and at our many fund-raising events. READ MORE
APROP is a registered charity who rescue and re-home abandoned cats and dogs, in Pego near Denia, in the northern Costa Blanca. Many animals arriving at our shelter have been abandoned, abused, are sick, starving, no longer able to be looked after by their owners and some are only hours away from death. A.P.A.D. was founded in 1991 by a few volunteers with the objective to save abandoned, neglected and abused dogs from the streets of Denia, to nurse them back to health and to take care of their well-being during their stay in A.P.A.D., and most importantly to find them loving forever homes. Tanamera is a small animal rescue, located in Valencia, Spain, privately run by Arjan and Jacky Hazeleger. Our goal is to give abandoned dogs a chance, when they are unwanted, abandoned and there is no other place for them to go.
