DESCRIPTION:FULL PROGRAMME FROM 11TH TO 19TH JULY\nSATURDAY 11 JULY\n\n8:00 am Opening and set-up of the festival headquarters.\n8:00 pm Parade through the streets of Duanes to collect the representatives from the Moorish Kábilas and Christian Headquarters.\n8:30 pm Reception drinks hosted by the Captain Filà AL-TARIKS in Calle Sevilla.\n9:00 pm Parade through the streets of Duanes with the representatives taking part in the Opening Ceremony.\n9:20 pm On arrival at Avenida Jaime I, the official firework rocket will be launched, followed by the ceremonial switching on of the festival lights.\n9:30 pm Official Presentation of the 2026 Moors and Christians Festival on Avenida Lepanto, attended by local and festival authorities.\n11:30 pm KRAKATOA Mobile Disco until 4:00 am, with a resonably priced bar run by the 2027 Captaincy.\n\nSUNDAY 12 JULY\n\n1:00 pm Brass band parade through Duanes de la Mar by Filà Schaitans.\n8:30 pm 21st Festival Music Concert on Avenida Lepanto performed by the Centre Artístic Musical de Xàbia Band, Featuring a performance by ENDANZA Ballet.\n\nMONDAY 13 JULY\n\n9:00 pm Visit to Arenal Beach. Parade along the David Ferrer Promenade with ENDANZA Ballet. The evening concludes with a fireworks display and refreshments for all participating Filaes, courtesy of La Fontana, Posidonia and Náutica Canal de la Fontana restaurants.\n\nTUESDAY 14 JULY\n\n8:00 pm Visit to Javea’s Historic Centre, ending with a Floral Offering to the patron saint, Sant Jaume, followed by a fireworks display.\n\nWEDNESDAY 15 JULY\n\n6:30 pm Festive Alardo with arquebus firing along Avenida Jaime I.\n8:15 pm Floral Offering to Sant Jaume, ending at Our Lady of Loreto Church. During the ceremony, the Filaes and Festival Committee will donate food to Cáritas.\n10:30 pm Filà Paella Competition on Avenida Jaime I with prizes, music and a mobile disco until 3:00 am.\n\n\n\n\n \nTHURSDAY 16 JULY\n \n\n\n\n\n9:00 pm Gathering of the Christian side on La Grava Beach.\n9:30 pm Moorish Landing featuring a re-enactment of the arrival of the Moorish troops, arquebus fire and performances by LEGEND.\n10:00 pm Moorish Embassy and Surrender of the Castle, followed by a parade of both sides.\nMidnight Brass Band Night visiting the Kábilas and Headquarters until 3:00 am.\n\nFRIDAY 17 JULY\n\n11:00 am Brass band parade by the Almoradins and Almoriscos Filaes.\n5:00 pm 25th Pepe Prats Valencian Pilota Trophy.\n9:00 pm Battle with arquebus fire on La Grava Beach.\n9:30 pm Christian Embassy and Reconquest of the Castle, followed by a parade.\n11:00 pm Vinyl Disco featuring 1960s, 70s and 80s classics, rock and indie music.\n\nSATURDAY 18 JULY\n\n12:00 pm Parade by the Captain Filà AL-TARIK’S, festival officials and committee visiting the Kábilas and Headquarters.\n8:00 pm Grand Gala Parade of the Moorish and Christian sides.\n11:30 pm Live performance by ORQUESTA LÍMITE until 4:00 am.\n\nSUNDAY 19 JULY\n\n10:00 am Children’s water games on Paseo Jaime I.\n10:30 am Free ice cream served by the Moorish and Christian Standard Bearers.\n11:00 am Brass band parade by Filà Contrabandistes.\n6:00 pm Parade of the Bands followed by a joint performance of the pasodoble ‘Xàbia’.\n7:00 pm Grand Gala Parade of the Moorish and Christian sides, followed by a spectacular night-time mascletà from La Grava Beach.\n\nSATURDAY 25 JULY – SANT JAUME DAY\n\n7:30 pm Gathering at Our Lady of Loreto Church.\n8:00 pm Solemn Mass in honour of Sant Jaume and in memory of deceased festival members.\n\n \n\n
