This time last year, the Arenal was flooding…….but yesterday saw a record breaking 26.4 degrees in Javea!!!
On 21st January, according to statistics from the State Agency of Meteorology (Aemet), the temperature in Javea hit a high of 26.4 ºC !
This has just taken the record by narrowly exceeding the 26.2 ºC recorded on January 31, 1948, the highest historical temperature in the month of January to date.
This time last year, we were building sand banks for floods!!!!
